Advocate, called to the Cyprus bar in 2001. She joined the team of Georgiades & Pelides in 2000 as a trainee. She is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, UK (Master of Laws (LL.M) specialising in Substantive and Constitutional Issues of European Community Law and European Human Rights, awarded in 2000) and the University of Birmingham, UK (Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in Law and Business Studies, awarded in 1999 with first class honours).

Areas of practice: licensing, passporting and regulatory requirements applicable to the provision of financial services in Cyprus, including on a cross-border basis, as such requirements may apply to various types of regulated entities such as investment firms, credit institutions, payment services providers, electronic money institutions, financial leasing companies, undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities and alternative investment funds and their managers; notification and approval requirements applicable in the event of acquisition of control over a regulated entity; transparency and disclosure requirements applicable to listed companies; requirements relating to the prevention of market abuse and insider dealing; selling restrictions and prospectus requirements applicable to offerings of securities in Cyprus; migration of companies to and from Cyprus; personal data protection and privacy requirements, including drafting of related policy documents and notifications; anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing requirements; tobacco control and e-cigarettes regulation; legal framework and requirements applicable to hydrocarbons exploration and exploitation in the Cyprus exclusive economic zone; licensing and regulatory requirements and restrictions applicable to betting services, lotteries and other games of chance; requirements relating to the production and sale of medicinal cannabis.
