Marios Pelides

 

Marios has been in practice since 1985 and is a partner in Georgiades & Pelides LLC specialising in corporate and M&A work. His main areas of practice are structuring joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border mergers, take-overs, public offers and listings on the Cyprus Stock Exchange.

Marios also regularly advises in relation to complex cases involving shareholder disputes and has extensive related litigation experience.

He also regularly advises on merger control and competition law.

He has been involved in the establishment of insurance companies in Cyprus including branch offices and advises insurance companies on a wide range of issues including regulatory framework, run-off’s and insurance product drafting.

Marios is the author of a number of publications on mergers and acquisitions and merger control.

Marios is a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn and a graduate of the University of London with a degree in law (LL.B.).
