Panayiota Elia

Panayiota Elia is an advocate practicing in Cyprus since 1994. She is a graduate of the University of Essex with a degree in law (LL.B.) and of the London School of Economics of the University of London with a post graduate degree in law (LL.M.).

She has a broad range of corporate, banking and commercial experience. Her main area of work is banking law, corporate law and regularly advises on takeovers, corporate structures and shareholders agreements. She also regularly advises banks and financial institutions in relation to the ISDA Master Agreement.

She also specialises in ship finance and admiralty work and has been advising in connection with marine casualties and cargo related claims.
