Irene Argyrides
Irene Argyrides is an advocate practicing in Cyprus since 2001. She is a graduate of the University of Sussex with a degree in law (LL.B.) and of the University of Birmingham with a post graduate degree in law (LL.M.).
She has a broad range of corporate, contractual, commercial and European experience. Her main area of work is corporate, commercial and contract law and regularly advises on structuring financing transactions, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, management of corporate structures, joint ventures, drafting, reviewing, commenting on and amending shareholders’ or joint venture agreements, share sale and transfer agreements and articles of association. She has also worked on international tax structures involving Cyprus holding companies with underlying companies, and has been involved with the performance of due diligence exercises over a number of Cyprus target companies whether in the course of share sale and transfer transactions, corporate restructurings or financing transactions involving a Cyprus company as guarantor or one of the obligors in general.
