Kyriacos Varnavas
Kyriacos studied law at the University of Southampton and obtained his Bachelor of Laws in 2014. He went on to undertake the Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law in London, where he achieved an ‘outstanding’ performance in Civil Litigation, Drafting and Resolution of Disputes outside the Court. Subsequently, in November 2015 Kyriacos was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. Kyriacos is also a qualified ADR Group Civil and Commercial Mediator.
In 2015 Kyriacos returned to Cyprus and commenced his training at a major legal firm in Nicosia, before joining the Cyprus Bar Association as a fully qualified advocate in 2016. Prior to joining Georgiades & Pelides in 2019, Kyriacos worked for another notable law firm in Nicosia as a member of the international litigation team, where he was actively involved in high value commercial fraud cases, urgent interim injunctions and opinion writing for various commercial matters. In 2019 Kyriacos has also worked for Hellenic Bank’s internal legal services.
Kyriacos is now an active member of the litigation team, handling various commercial, banking and general civil cases.
