Michalis Zivanaris
Michalis Zivanaris practices as an advocate in the litigation department, handling broad commercial, banking, corporate and general litigation cases. He also provides legal advice and appears before the Administrative Court of Cyprus. Prior to joining Georgiades & Pelides LLC, Michalis completed his pupillage at the Attorney General’s office where he was involved in a range of civil and administrative law cases. He joined the firm as a fully qualified advocate and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association in July 2021.
Michalis holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), a Master of Laws (LL.M by Research) and a Doctorate in Law (PhD), from the University of Kent. He has held academic positions at the University of Kent and the University of Central Lancashire (Cyprus) where he taught English land law, legal and political theory, and legal debating. He has developed an expertise in the areas of European Union law, constitutional law, administrative law, and property law.
Michalis is fluent in Greek and English.
