Sotos Kasinos

Sotos Kasinos studied law at Queen Mary University of London and is a commercial litigator specialising in disputes involving corporate and shareholder claims, civil fraud, negligence and complex contractual and banking claims. He has acted for major international corporations and financial institutions and he has particular expertise in large-scale and multi-jurisdictional litigation, often involving complex questions of private international law. He also has substantial experience in the handling of urgent applications for interim relief, such as worldwide freezing orders, injunctions and disclosure orders. 

He appears before all District Courts, before the Administrative Court and before the Supreme Court of Cyprus and he has also appeared before the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Sotos also undertakes a broad range of advisory work for various commercial, banking, employment and contractual issues and internal investigations. He is also an accredited mediator and conciliator.

Sotos has also co-authored various publications over recent years, including the Cyprus chapters on Dispute Resolution 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019, Complex Commercial Litigation 2020 and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments 2020 published by Lexology GTDT and the Cyprus chapter on Chambers International Fraud & Asset Tracing 2021.
