Athina Athanasiadou

Athina Athanasiadou is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in law (LL.B.) and a post graduate degree in law (LL.M.) from the University of Kent, specialising in litigation. She has been in practice in Cyprus since 1993 and joined the litigation team of Georgiades & Pelides in 1997.

Athina’s main areas of practice are banking and commercial law, handling various high value cases. She has acted before the Cyprus courts for a number of banks, corporate and private clients, including the Supreme Court.

She also has extensive experience in administrative recourse actions, landlord and tenant disputes and, winding-up petitions.

She also advises banks on a wide range of legal issues including disputes arising in connection with loans and other financial arrangements.
