Sotos Kasinos
Sotos Kasinos studied law at Queen Mary University of London and completed his training at the Attorney-General’s office where he gained significant second chair trial experience. Prior to joining Georgiades & Pelides, he worked in another large law firm of Cyprus, where he advised and represented clients in employment, construction, banking and corporate litigation.
He now practises in all core areas of commercial litigation, with a particular interest on corporate and banking disputes and debt recovery proceedings. As many of those disputes cross international boundaries, he has experience with issues of private international law and with recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements. He also acts as the attorney of receivers/managers of companies under receivership providing ongoing support and advice.
In addition to his mainstream practice, he regularly advises banks, local and international businesses and private individuals in respect to a diverse range of legal issues, such as securities, distribution, intellectual property and employment.
